My service is not recording Events.


Your Cam Plus or Cam Protect service is not recording Events.


  1. Make sure the email address you used to purchase the subscription (with In-App Purchase) is the same as the one you use to sign into the Wyze app. 
  2. Check that Motion Detection is turned on.
    • Go to your camera's Live stream > Settings > Event Recordings. 
  3. Make sure a license is attached to the camera.
    • Go to the Account tab > Services to check.

If none of the steps above help to get your Event recordings working again, submit a device log. Go to the device in the Wyze app, Device Settings > Wyze Support > Submit a Log.
