Using Rules with Wyze Cam

To learn all about Rules, Shortcuts, Schedules and Device Triggers, start with the article: Using Rules with the Wyze app.

How do Rules work with Wyze Cam?

Rules help automate your Wyze Cam devices (v1, v2, and Pan) making it easier to upload a video to the cloud with a single tap in the app, turn off motion detection at a scheduled time, or turn off the camera when another device is triggered.

  • Shortcuts run actions with a tap in the Wyze app.
  • Schedules control devices based on the time of day.
  • Device Triggers connect multiple Wyze devices so one can trigger another.
