When switching modes on the app, will I need to enter my PIN?

It depends on your settings.

This depends on the settings you have selected for your Wyze Home Monitoring Service (HMS). Unless your settings require a PIN when switching between modes, you do not need to enter the PIN to switch modes on the app unless there is an active alarm.

However when there is an active alarm, you need to enter the PIN in the app's virtual keypad to switch modes.
