I am not getting notifications when my sensors are triggered.

Problem

Your Wyze Home Monitoring sensors are being triggered, sensing motion or being opened and closed. But you are not receiving notifications as expected.

Troubleshooting

  1. Check that your system is online and stable.
    • On the Home screen of the Wyze app, if you do not see an offline icon next to your sensors or hub (like offline.png) then you're online.
  2. Make sure you haven't muted notifications for:
    • Your mobile device
      • Open your Settings app and tap Notifications.
      • Navigate to the Wyze app in your list and make sure Allow Notifications is toggled On.
        • This process may vary if you're on an Android device.
    • The Wyze app
      • On the top of the Home screen, find the Notifications bell. 
      • If you see zZ on the bell, then push notifications have been disabled and you will not receive any notifications from the app.
      • Tap to re-enable push notifications.
    • The specific device
      • In the Wyze app, tap on the device's name.
      • Tap the Settings gear, then Notifications.
      • Make sure the Send Notifications toggle is On, and your notification settings are correct.
