It requires both darkness and motion at the same time.
If your Wyze Night Light is in AUTO Mode, it will light up when there's dark ambient light and motion is detected at the same time.
If it's dark and no motion is detected, it will not light up.
If motion is detected, but the area is bright, it will not light up.
