My Wyze Room Sensor temperature status is not changing.

Problem

Your Wyze Room Sensor temperature status doesn't update when the temperature changes.

Troubleshooting:

  1. Confirm that your Wyze Thermostat is online and the Wyze Room Sensor is connected.
  2. Check that your Wyze app is up to date.
    1. Go to the Account tab and tap About.
    2. The app version is under the Wyze logo.
    3. You can compare your app version to the most up-to-date version listed on our Release Notes & Firmware page.
  3. Confirm the firmware for both your Wyze Thermostat and Wyze Room Sensor are up to date.
    1. You can check this by going to the Account tab > Firmware Update.
    2. If there is an update available for your thermostat, please move forward with the update.
  4. Refresh the status of your sensors by swiping down on the page with the list of Wyze Room Sensors in the Wyze app.
  5. Power cycle your Wyze Room Sensor by removing and reinserting the sensor’s batteries.
  6. Try refreshing the sensor list again.
  7. Factory reset your Wyze Room Sensor.
    1. Press and hold the button on the top of the sensor for about 5 seconds until the sensor’s display shows [188] and then release the button to return to the room temperature and humidity display.
    2. Set up your Wyze Room Sensor as new.
