My camera does not record any events.


Your camera does not record any Events even though you have signed up for Cam Protect.

Troubleshooting Tip

  1. Make sure the camera has power and you can connect to the livestream.
  2. Make sure the Cam Protect subscription is active and assigned to a camera.
    • In the Wyze app, go to Account > Services > Cam Protect. Make sure your camera is shown.
  3. Unassign Cam Protect from the device, then reassign it.
    • Go to Account > Cam Protect > Tap on the device name > Unassign. Then assign it again.
  4. Make sure Motion Detection is enabled.
    • To check to go the camera's livestream, tap Settings > Event Recording
  5. Clear the app cache.
    • Go to Account> App Settings > Cache Files> Clear.
