Problem
When I press the button on my Wyze Duo Cam Doorbell, my Wyze Wi-Fi Chime doesn’t ring.
Troubleshooting

Confirm that your Wyze app is up to date.
- In your Wyze app, navigate to the Account tab > tap About.
- Your current app version will be listed beneath the Wyze logo.
- Compare your app version to the latest app version listed on our Release Notes & Firmware page.
- If you find that your Wyze app is out of date, head over to your mobile device’s app store, and update the Wyze app.

If possible, check that both your Wyze Duo Cam Doorbell’s and Wyze Wi-Fi Chime firmware are up to date.
- You can check this by going to the Account tab > Firmware Update.
- If there is an update available for the doorbell or chime, please move forward with updating it.

Verify that Wyze Wi-Fi Chime is connected to Wyze Duo Cam Doorbell.
- In the Wyze app, navigate to Wyze Wi-Fi Chime’s settings > Automations.
- Ensure an automation is set up to trigger the chime to sound when Wyze Duo Cam Doorbell is pressed.

Increase the volume of the chime.
- In the Wyze app, select your Wyze Wi-Fi Chime.
- Under Volume, increase the slider bar.

Restart the chime.
- Navigate to Wyze Wi-Fi Chime’s settings > Restart Chime > Restart.
- If possible, try moving the chime, doorbell, and router closer together.
