Turn on the Motion Warning feature so that a voice alert plays and lets visitors know your home is protected by Wyze.
When enabled, your Wyze Cam or doorbell will either play a Wyze Tone, or:
"Hi, you are currently being recorded."

- Wyze Cam Floodlight Pro
- Wyze Cam OG and Telephoto 3x

These steps to enable Motion Warning are the same on all compatible devices. However, the Repeat Sound interval shown on the Motion Warning page is only available for AI-based motion detection.
Additional Notes about Motion Warning
There are two types of Motion Warnings: AI-based and Pixel-based. If your camera has a Cam Plus or Cam Protect license assigned to it, OR is a Wyze Cam Floodlight Pro, you have AI-based motion detection.
Pixel-based motion detection is our free version of Motion Warning, which relies on large groups of pixels changing between frames. Motion Warning is only available as a free option on Wyze Cam OG devices.
For pixel-based Motion Warning on Wyze Cam OG, when a motion is detected in the detection zone, the camera plays a selected warning audio message every 10s through its built-in speaker.
