Wyze Scale can measure the 12 body composition metrics below. The details you added while setting up the scale are combined with BIA to calculate each measurement besides weight.
Weight
Your total body weight, including muscle, fat, and fluid. How heavy you are in pounds or kilograms.
Body Fat%
Body Fat Percentage (BFP) is the amount of fat cells in your body. Using body impedance, BFP is calculated by dividing body fat weight by total body weight.
Heart Rate
Your total heartbeats per minute (bpm). A normal resting heart rate for an adult is between 60 to 100 beats per minute.
Muscle Mass
Muscle mass is your total muscle weight. The muscle mass displayed includes the skeletal muscles, smooth muscles (such as cardiac and digestive muscles) and the water contained in these muscles.
Body Mass Index (BMI)
BMI is your weight in kilograms divided by height in square meters. It is a general measure of health; a "normal" BMI is between 18.5 and 25.
Note: BMI is not perfect. It doesn't take into account other important factors such as age, muscle mass, and diet.
Body Water%
Body Water Percentage (BWP) is the total percentage of fluid in your body, including the water in your muscles.
Lean Body Mass (LBM)
Lean Body Mass (LBM) is your total body weight subtracted by your body fat weight. It's also known as your fat-free mass, which is the mass of your body without fat.
Bone Mass
Bone Mass is the weight of bones in your body; the weight of your skeleton.
Protein%
The percentage of the protein in your body. It is calculated by subtracting body water from muscle mass.
Visceral Fat
Visceral fat is a type of body fat that's stored within the core abdominal cavity. It's the fat that surrounds and protects your vital organs.
Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR)
Basal Metabolic Rate is the amount of calories your body needs to function while at rest. Individuals who exercise regularly tend to have a higher BMR than people that are less active.
Metabolic Age
Metabolic age is a comparison of your BMR with the average BMR of your age group. Increasing exercise will build healthy muscle tissue and can improve your metabolic age.
