Wyze Cam v3 can record continuous motion, but you'll need a subscription to a service plan like Cam Plus or a microSD card installed for uninterrupted recordings.
With a service plan like Cam Plus, there is a standard 5-minute "cooldown" period between similar* event videos unless you update your settings to remove that cooldown.
Without any service plan (including Cam Plus, Cam Unlimited, etc.) you must have a microSD card installed to record continuously to your Wyze Cam v3.

- Example: If motion occurs, then sound occurs, the camera will capture both events in two different 12-second event videos.
- You can add a microSD card and set it to "Continuous" recording in your camera's settings to record nonstop video. You can also choose "Record Events Only" to record longer videos to your microSD card when motion is detected without a cooldown period.
- Cam Plus and higher tiered service plans remove the cooldown period and allows Wyze Cam v3 to record continuously for as long as motion is detected, with no 12-second limit or cooldown.
