Wyze Cam v3 Spotlight Kit Setup Guide

Once your Wyze Cam v3 is all set up, you can add a spotlight so you can always have a color image, no matter how dark the area.

To set up your Wyze Cam v3 Spotlight Kit:

1. Unpack your Spotlight kit, and remove the rubber band around the included USB cable.
2. Refer to the image below for a quick view of what goes where.
   
   
   1. On the spotlight's USB cable, find the Connect to Spotlight tag.
      • Connect this end of the cable to the Spotlight.
   2. Unplug your Wyze Cam v3 from its power outlet.
   3. Disconnect your Wyze Cam v3 from its power cable
   4. On the spotlight's USB cable, find the Connect to Camera tag.
      • Connect this end of the cable to the camera's cable.
   5. Connect the spotlight's USB cable to the v3's power cable.
   6. Plug the v3's power cable back into the power outlet.
3. Your spotlight will light up while the camera is starting up.
   • Not lighting up? Double-check all of your connections. When it lights up, continue below.
4. In the Wyze app, tap on your Wyze Cam v3. 
   1. "Spotlight detected" should display in the app.
   2. Tap on the Settings gear on the top right.
   3. Tap Accessories > Spotlight.
   4. Tap Low or High to test your spotlight. If it responds to the app, it's all set up.
5. Finally, install your spotlight onto your camera
   1. Remove the adhesive strip underneath the spotlight.
   2. Attach the spotlight firmly to the top of the camera, making sure it's flush along the front of the camera.
      
6. Once the spotlight is attached, you're all set!
