To install a microSD card in a WCO:
- Pull the base away from the bottom of your camera.
- Lift and pull aside the protective cover labeled SD CARD.
- Insert the microSD card into the slot, pressing it in fully until it clicks.
- The metal contact pins must be facing down (see below).
- Replace the protective SD CARD cover.
To install a microSD card in Wyze Base Station:
- Find the SD card slot on the side of your base station.
- Insert the microSD card into the slot, pressing it in fully until it clicks.
- The metal contact pins must be facing upwards (see below).
Additional Note:
- Wyze Cam Outdoor does not have in-app playback for microSD card recordings. To view your recordings, you must eject the microSD card and insert it into a computer or laptop.
- Wyze Cam Outdoor does not have a Continuous Recording feature as it would drastically shorten the battery life of the camera. To continuously record to a microSD card, we recommend grabbing a Wyze Cam v4 instead.
