Do I need a special camera for Wyze Car?

No, just a Wyze Cam v2.

You don't need a special camera (though the v2 is pretty great) to use Wyze Car. But only Wyze Cam v2 can be updated with the Car Cam firmware.

Wyze Car does not work with Wyze Cam Pan, v1, v3, or Outdoor.
