My Wyze Cam Pan v3 is not turning on when connected to power.

Problem

You've plugged your Wyze Cam Pan v3 into power, but it doesn't have power. The status light does not light up.

Troubleshooting

  1. Make sure you’re using the USB cable and adapter that came with the camera. 
  2. Check that the USB cable is correctly and securely plugged into the camera. 
    1. Wyze Cam Pan v3’s micro USB slot is on the bottom of the camera’s rotating base.
    2. The male micro USB side should be inserted into the camera and the male full-size USB side should be inserted into the adapter. 
    3. Ensure the cable is fully and securely inserted into the camera.
      • Note: The device's weatherproofing may make it seem like the cable is fully inserted but you should double-check.
  3. Try plugging the camera into a different power outlet.
  4. Press and hold the SETUP button to check if “ready to connect” sounds.
  5. If the camera still does not power on, please try another USB cable or adapter if possible to rule out a defective cable or adapter.
