Can I use a Wyze Cam as a chime for Wyze Video Doorbell v2?

Yes, certain Wyze Cams* can be used as a chime for Wyze Video Doorbell v2!

Wyze Cam OG, Telephoto, and Wyze Cam Pan v3 can now be used as a chime for your Wyze Video Doorbell v2! When a visitor pushes the doorbell button, your camera can play a sound to let you know.

To set your Wyze Cam as a chime:

  1. In the Wyze app, tap on your Wyze Video Doorbell v2.
  2. Tap on the Settings gear, then Chime. 
  3. Tap Cameras as Chime.
  4. Select the cameras you want to use as a chime, then tap Done.
  5. On the next screen, tap Customize to customize the Chime sound and volume.
  6. Tap the back arrow < to save your settings.

Additional Note:

  • * Support for using your Wyze Cam as a chime is limited to Wyze Cam OG, Telephoto, and Wyze Cam Pan v3 for now. We plan to expand this function to more Wyze Cam devices.
