SD Card CVR is a feature for Cam Unlimited Pro subscribers to use their existing Wyze Cams with a microSD Card along with Continuous Video Recording. Instead of viewing your microSD card recordings separately from your cloud recordings, they are now displayed on the same playback screen in the Wyze app.
SD Card CVR includes full video recording to the cloud and onto your installed microSD card.
Does SD card CVR replace 24/7 Local Recording?
No, you will still be able to use 24/7 Local Recording without a subscription to a Wyze security plan. You do not need to sign up for anything new, or make any changes to continue using the local recording feature on your Wyze Cams.
However, if you subscribe to Cam Unlimited Pro, you'll be able to view your local recordings and cloud recordings on the same page in the Wyze app.
