VerifiedView is Wyze's new verification service, an extra layer of security that stamps your Wyze data with your unique marker, so only you can access it.
Which Wyze data is impacted?
All of the images, video recordings, thumbnails, and push notifications from your Wyze Cam are stamped with your unique Wyze userID. Before anyone can view, download, or share that data, Wyze verifies that the userID on that content matches your account.
VerifiedView covers Wyze Cloud, Wyze Web, and mobile apps (v3.4+).
How do I get VerifiedView?
Just make sure that your Wyze app is up-to-date (version 3.4+) and your Wyze Cam firmware is updated. There's no toggle or setting to enable; VerifiedView has been rolling out to most cameras over the past several months.
What about other Wyze security measures?
Our already strong protections like password requirements, 2FA, cloud security, encryption, and other industry-standard security practices will still be there. VerifiedView is a personalized safety blanket over your data, so it always stays tied to you.
