Wyze Lamp Socket v2 uses Wi-Fi to pair to a single camera.
Wyze Lamp Socket v2 uses Wi-Fi only to pair to a compatible Wyze Cam. You can assign unlimited Wyze Lamp Socket v2s to a single camera, and that camera controls each lamp socket individually.
👉 When you want to add another Wyze Lamp Socket v2, add it in the Wyze app and assign it to your Wyze Cam.
Wyze Lamp Socket v1 uses Bluetooth to link to other lamp sockets.
Wyze Lamp Socket v1 is set up by connecting it to a compatible Wyze Cam with an included cable.
👉 When you want to add another Wyze Lamp Socket v1, shut off power, then screw in up to 4 other Wyze Lamp Socket v1s. Turn on power to them all within 30 seconds, and they will link via Bluetooth automatically. Each lamp socket works together with the connected Wyze Cam.

If you currently have Wyze Lamp Socket v1s and want to pick up a Wyze Lamp Socket v2, you can manage both types through the same Wyze Cam.
- Set up your Wyze Lamp Socket v1 with a Wyze Cam v3 or Wyze Cam v4 only.
- Set up your Wyze Lamp Socket v2, and assign it to the same Wyze Cam v3 or v4.
- Update your settings on that Wyze Cam (Dusk to Dawn, Motion Detection, etc.), that will apply to all lamp sockets.
