What is AI Garage Door Detection?

Get notified when your garage door is closed or left open.

AI Garage Door Detection enables your camera to notify you of your garage door status. This feature is available only for paid subscribers on Wyze Cam v4, Wyze Cam v3 Pro and Wyze Cam v3. How do I enable AI Garage Door Detection?

To turn on AI Garage Door Detection:

  1. In the Wyze app, tap on your camera.
  2. Tap the Settings gear, then Notifications.
    1. Check that Motion is enabled and Smart Detection Events is selected.
  3. Tap Customize Detections > Garage Door.
  4. Tap the toggle next to Garage Door Detection to turn on this feature.
