How do I change the Wi-Fi for my Wyze Lock Bolt v2?

Wyze Lock Bolt v2 offers a new feature that allows you to easily change the Wi-Fi network that it is connected to – without having to walk through the entire setup process! 

To update the Wi-Fi network for your Wyze Lock Bolt v2: 

  1. Navigate to Wyze Lock Bolt v2's settings.
  2. Tap Device Info > Network.
  3. Remove the battery cover from the lock’s interior assembly.
  4. Press the reset button three times quickly.
    • The reset button must be pressed 3 times within 3 seconds.
    • The status light will pulse green.
  5. In the app, check the box next to It played a beeping tune, then tap Next.
  6. The app will automatically begin searching for and pairing with your Wyze Lock Bolt v2.
  7. Select your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and enter your network password. Tap Next.
    • Tap the icon in the password field to display the password to ensure it was entered correctly.
  8. You’re all set! If successful, you’ll receive a “Wi-Fi Network updated.” message. 

Notes:

  • Bluetooth® must be enabled for the Wyze app in order to use this feature.
  • Wyze Lock Bolt v2 is only compatible with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks.
