My group of Wyze Light Strip devices are not all the same color.

Problem

You have a Wyze Light Strip group set to a specific color, but one or more devices are lighting up as a different color.

Troubleshooting

  1. Make sure your app firmware is up to date.
    1. Navigate to the Account tab > Tap About
    2. Your app version will be listed beneath the Wyze logo.
    3. Navigate to our Release Notes and Firmware Page to compare your app firmware with the latest firmware available.
    4. If your app is not up to date, head over to the app store on your phone/tablet device to update the Wyze app.
  2. Make sure your Wyze Light Strip Firmware is up to date.
    • Navigate to the Account tab > tap Firmware Update. If you have the option to update your Wyze Light Strip, go ahead with that step.
  3. Force close your Wyze app.
  4. Sign out of the app and sign back in.
  5. Delete the group, then recreate the group and set the color again.
  6. Power cycle your Wyze Light Strip (or Pro), by unplugging it and plugging it back in after about 30 seconds.
  7. Perform a factory reset.
    1. Before performing this step, please send us an app log and take note of the ID it generates for you. Factory resetting a device before sending a log would delete helpful information that could help when troubleshooting.
    2. In the Wyze app, tap on your Wyze Light Strip (or Pro)
    3. Tap the Settings gear.
    4. Tap Wyze Support > Submit a Log Light Quality.
    5. Give details, and ensure that Send log files is checked. Tap Submit.
  8. To perform a factory reset, press and hold the side button on the controller for 7+ seconds until the light strip starts pulsing.
