The Change button lets you update your Wi-Fi info easily.
On most Wyze Cams, the only way to update your Wi-Fi details is by pressing the SETUP button and setting up the device as new in the Wyze app.
But on select Wyze Cams, you can go to your Device Settings > Device Info and tap Change to update your network details, as long as you're still online.
👉 If you have already disconnected your Wi-Fi, or are already offline, the Change button will not work.
The Change button is only available on the following Wyze Cams:
- Wyze Cam Pan v3 (Wyze app version 3.11+ required)
- Wyze Cam Pan v4 (Wyze app version 3.12+ required)
- Wyze Cam v3 (Wyze app version 3.11+ required)
- Wyze Cam v3 Pro (Wyze app version 3.14+ required)
To use the Change button to update your Wi-Fi details:
- Important: If you have a microSD card installed, eject it before proceeding.
- In the Wyze app, tap on your Wyze Cam v3/v3 Pro or Wyze Cam Pan v3/v4.
- Tap on the settings gear on the top right.
- Tap Device Info.
- Next to Network, tap Change*.
- Enter your new Wi-Fi network name and password.
- Tap Connect.
Additional Notes:
- You must be connected to Wi-Fi to use the Change network button. If you are offline, the Change button will be grayed out.
- To connect to your network, single-press the SETUP button on the camera and set up your device as new.
- If you aren't on the latest version of the Wyze app, the Change button may not be available.
