My Wyze Air Purifier firmware fails to update.

Problem

Your Wyze Air Purifier does not complete its firmware update.

Troubleshooting:

  1. Confirm your Wyze app is up to date.
    1. Go to the Account tab > tap About.
    2. The app version will be listed beneath the Wyze logo.
    3. You can compare your app version to the most up-to-date version listed on our Release Notes and Firmware Page.
  2. Force close your Wyze app.
  3. Make sure the Wi-Fi icon shows on the air purifier’s display.
  4. Check that your Wyze Air Purifier has a strong Wi-Fi signal.
    1. You can check this by going to Wyze Air Purifier in your Wyze app > Settings > Device Info.
    2. The signal strength should be at 3 bars.
  5. Reboot your Wi-Fi router.
  6. Move your air purifier closer to the router and try again.
  7. Factory reset your air purifier.
    1. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.
  8. Perform a Wi-Fi reset.
    1. Press and hold the Auto Mode and Fan Speed button until the Wi-Fi icon starts to flash.
    2. Set up the air purifier as new.
