To turn on Smart Track on Wyze Duo Cam Pan:
In the Wyze app, tap on your Wyze Duo Cam Pan.
Under the live stream, swipe left/right on the toolbar to find Smart Track.
Tap the icon to turn it on or off.
When green, Smart Track is On.
When grey, Smart Track is Off.
Using the pan and tilt features, whenever motion is detected, the top camera on Wyze Duo Cam Pan can move to track the motion until it stops.
Smart Track only controls the top, pan-and-tilt camera. The bottom, fixed camera stays in place and does not support Smart Track.
Choosing what Smart Track follows
Wyze Duo Cam Pan uses AI-powered object tracking, so you can choose whether the camera follows all motion or prioritizes specific subjects.
In the camera's settings, tap Pan Cam Controls.
Under Smart Tracking, choose All Motion or Smart Tracking.
All Motion: The camera will follow all motion detected.
Smart Tracking: Choose from AI options (Person, Vehicle, Pet).
Use the Reorder button to arrange them, placing the object you want prioritized at the top of the list.
Additional Notes:
When the top camera detects motion, it will move to follow the subject to keep it within its field of view.
Once out of view, the camera will return to its Home Waypoint, if one has been set. If no Home Waypoint has been set, it will remain at its last manually adjusted position.
If Smart Track is set to All Motion and multiple objects are moving at the same time, Wyze Duo Cam Pan will follow the largest moving object in view.
If Smart Track is set to an AI option, the camera will prioritize the subject type highest on your Reorder list (for example, Person over Vehicle) when more than one is detected.
After a period of inactivity (no motion detected), Wyze Duo Cam Pan will return to its Home Waypoint (if set) OR continue its Pan Scan if one was in progress.
Smart Track can be turned on and off independently of Motion Detection and Motion Tagging.
This feature is only available on Wyze Duo Cam Pan's top, pan-and-tilt camera.
