What are the different modes and notifications for Cam Unlimited?

With Cam Unlimited, take home monitoring into your own hands with different modes. 

  • Home - Select specific cameras that you want to detect motion and/or sound while you're home. 
  • Away - All of your Cam Unlimited cameras are set to detect motion/or sound while you're away from home.
  • Disarm - None of your cameras will be set to detect motion and/or sound.

 

For each mode, you can select between different types of notifications.

  • Mute - The notifications for this camera will be muted.
  • Push - Receive push notifications to your phone/tablet.
  • Critical - Bypass your phone/tablet's mute or Do Not Disturb settings. (For iOS users only.)
  • Alarm - When triggered, the camera's siren will activate.
    • Note: Not all Wyze Cam models include built-in sirens.

 

To manage each mode and its notifications:

  1. In the Wyze app, navigate to the Monitoring tab.
  2. In the upper-right corner, tap the dropdown arrow then tap Settings.
  3. Select the mode you wish to edit (Home, Away, or Disarmed).
  4. Tap the assigned camera(s) to adjust the types of notifications you wish to receive for that mode.
    • Home and Away - You can select Mute, Push, Critical, or Alarm.
    • Disarm - You can select Mute or Push.
  5. Tap Save.
