Wyze Cam v1/v2 and Pan devices have both a Settings and an Advanced Settings menu. This allows you to fine tune even the most granular settings, which are detailed in this article.
To access your Wyze Cam's Advanced Settings:
- In the Wyze app, tap on your Wyze Cam.
- Tap on the Settings gear on the top right.
- Tap Advanced Settings.
Local Storage
With Local Storage, you can change settings specific to using a microSD card.

Motor Controls (Wyze Cam Pan only)
Rotate Speed affects how fast your Wyze Cam Pan moves when you control it manually. Tap and drag along the slider to set the speed.
Pan Scan Settings lets you set waypoints used when Pan Scan is activated.

Reset Position resets the camera's Pan and Tilt settings back to the default position.
Night Vision Mode and IR Lights:
Use this area to control your Night Vision Mode settings, including the Off / Auto / On functions.
You also have the option to turn off the Night Vision IR Lights. We recommend toggling this to Off if your camera is looking through a window.
Camera Status Light
The LED light on your Wyze Cam is pretty handy when determining your camera's status. Is it online? Offline? Pairing? But if you want to turn off the status light, this is where you do it.
Rotate Image 180°
Toggle this setting if you've mounted your Wyze Cam upside down and need to rotate the image.
Timestamp Watermark
With this setting toggled On, the time and date will display on your Live Stream. It will also appear on any footage your Wyze Cam records.
Show Wyze Logo
With this setting toggled On, the Wyze logo on your Live Stream. It will also appear on any footage your Wyze Cam records.
Record Sound
By default, your Wyze Cam records audio as well as video. If you don’t want audio recorded, toggle this setting to Off.
Sync Time
Tap Sync to adjust your camera's timestamp to the current time on your phone or tablet. This comes in handy if you've switched time zones.
