How do I reset my password?

Can't sign in to Wyze? Follow the steps below to reset your account password.

On the Wyze Website

  1. Go to wyze.com and click the person icon in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Click Log In.
  3. Click Forgot password?.
  4. Enter your Wyze account email address. 
  5. Check the “I’m not a robot” reCAPTCHA box.
  6. Click Send Verification Email.
  7. In your email inbox, you will receive a “Wyze account password reset” email. In that email, click the Click to Reset button.
    • Didn't receive the email? Please check your spam/junk folder.
  8. In the new tab/window, type the new password you want to use in the New Password and Confirm password fields.
    • Note: The password should be at least 10 characters long and include an uppercase letter, lowercase letter, and it cannot be part of your username or email address.
  9. Click Reset Password to complete the password reset.
  10. Congrats! You should be all set with your new password.

 

On the Wyze App

If you are already logged into your Wyze app:

  1. Navigate to the Account tab.
  2. Tap Account > Change Password.
  3. Enter your current password.
  4. Enter your new password and enter it again to confirm.
    • Note: The password should be at least 10 characters long and include an uppercase letter, lowercase letter, and it cannot be part of your username or email address.
  5. Tap Save.

 

If you are not able to log in to your Wyze app:

  1. On the login screen of your app, tap Forgot password?.
  2. Enter the email address associated with your Wyze account.
  3. Tap Send Verification Code.
    • You will receive an email with your 5-digit verification code.
    • Didn't receive the email? Please check your spam/junk folder.
  4. Enter the verification code and your new password.
    • Note: The password should be at least 10 characters long and include an uppercase letter, lowercase letter, and it cannot be part of your username or email address.
  5. Confirm your password and tap Next.
  6. Tap Finish and you're all set!

 

Important Note: Once you reset your password, you will be logged out of all active sessions. Bound third-party services such as Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant will need re-binding.
