All Wyze Cams, including Wyze Cam v3, have a handy Motion Tagging feature that helps you identify motion in a video.
Motion Tagging on your Wyze Cam
Motion Tagging shows a green box around what your Wyze Cam detects as motion. This helps when scanning through a lot of footage to find where there was motion.

To turn Motion Tagging On/Off:
- In the Wyze app, tap on your Wyze Cam.
- Go to Settings > Detection Settings.
- Tap the toggle next to Motion Tagging to turn it on/off.
Additional Notes:
- When Motion Tagging is on, the green box will be visible in any recorded video. This includes Playback, Events, Time Lapse, and any manually-recorded videos.
- Motion Tagging sensitivity is fixed, and not related to your Event Recording sensitivity settings,
- When there are multiple moving objects, the feature will frame the largest moving object in the field of view.
- You cannot add Motion Tagging to a video that has already been recorded, or remove tagging that already has it.
