How do I change the Wi-Fi for my Wyze Palm Lock?

Wyze Palm Lock offers a new feature that allows you to easily change the Wi-Fi network that it is connected to – without having to walk through the entire setup process! 

To update the Wi-Fi network for your Wyze Palm Lock: 

  1. Navigate to Wyze Palm Lock’s settings.
  2. Tap Device Info > Network.
  3. Remove the battery cover from the lock’s interior assembly.
  4. Press the reset button three times quickly.
    • The reset button must be pressed 3 times within 3 seconds.
    • The status light will pulse red.
  5. In the app, check the box next to I heard, "Ready to connect”, then tap Next.
  6. The app will automatically begin searching for and pairing with your Wyze Palm Lock.
  7. Select your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and enter your network password. Tap Next.
    1. Tap the icon in the password field to display the password to ensure it was entered correctly.
  8. You’re all set! If successful, you’ll receive a “Wi-Fi Network updated.” message. 

 

Notes:

  • Bluetooth® must be enabled for the Wyze app in order to use this feature.
  • Wyze Palm Lock is only compatible with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks.
