The night vision isn’t working on my Wyze Duo Cam Pan.

Problem

Your Wyze Duo Cam Pan is not automatically entering Night Vision Mode in low-light environments. 

Troubleshooting

  1. Confirm that the Wyze app is up to date.
    1. In your Wyze app, navigate to the Account tab > tap About.
    2. Your current app version will be listed beneath the Wyze logo.
    3. Compare your app version to the latest app version listed on our Release Notes & Firmware page.
    4. If you find that your Wyze app is out of date, head over to your mobile device’s app store and update the Wyze app.
  1. If possible, check that your Wyze Duo Cam Pan’s firmware is up to date.
    1. You can check this by going to the Account tab > Firmware Update.
    2. If there is an update available for the camera, please move forward with updating it.
  1. Force close the Wyze app.
  2. Adjust the Night Vision settings.
    1. Navigate to the camera’s settings > Advanced Settings.
      1. Under Night Vision Mode, cycle between On, Off, and Auto.
        • Note: We recommend setting it to Auto.
      2. Toggle Night Vision IR Lights off/on.
      3. Tap Night Vision Conditions, then cycle between Dark and Dusk.
        • Note: We recommend setting it to Dusk.
  3. Try to adjust the lighting around the camera to trigger the Night Vision.
    • Tip: Try physically covering the camera’s lens to check if Night Vision is activated.
  4. Power cycle Wyze Duo Cam Pan.
    1. Unplug the camera from its power source for 5-10 seconds, then plug it back in.
  1. Factory reset the camera and then set it up as new.
    1. Remove any microSD card that is inserted into the camera.
    2. With the camera powered on, press and hold the setup button on the bottom of the camera for 10 seconds until the status light on the front of the camera turns solid red.
    3. Once the status light starts flashing red, set up the camera as new.
