To set up your Wyze Light Strip:
- In the Wyze app, tap Home, then tap the plus sign + on the top right.
- On the Add menu, tap Device.
- Tap Power & Lighting > Wyze Light Strip or Wyze Light Strip Pro.
- Pro Tip: You can set up both versions from the same option. It doesn’t matter which you select.
- Follow the in-app instructions to install your light strip and controller in your desired location.
- Plug the power adapter into a nearby outlet and see the light strip begin to pulse, showing it’s in pairing mode.
- Want to set up several light strips at once? Install, and power them on now.
- You can set up a lot of strips at once. We've tested over 30!
- The light strip(s) will automatically begin to pulse.
- Not pulsing? Press and hold the side button on the controller for 7 seconds to put it into pairing mode.
- Want to set up several light strips at once? Install, and power them on now.
- If prompted by the Wyze app, allow access to your location and BluetoothⓇ. Tap OK.
- Select your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and enter your network password. Tap Connect.
- On the next screen, you'll see your light strips(s) connecting to the network.
- Once connected, name your light(s) and edit the icon(s).
- Tap on the light strip name, then type in the pop-up to edit. Tap Next.
- If you're setting up multiple light strips, they will each glow a specific color during setup. Name each one accordingly.
- Tap on the light strip name, then type in the pop-up to edit. Tap Next.
- You’re all set. Enjoy your new Wyze device!
