Using the Blink feature with Wyze Light Strip

Have your Wyze Light Strip and Wyze Light Strip Pro (and Wyze bulbs) blink in color with an automation! Want your lights to blink red when you receive a package, or blink blue when someone rings your Wyze Video Doorbell? Start right here.

  1. In the Wyze app, tap Home, then tap the plus sign + on the top right.
  2. On the Add menu, tap Automation > Device & Service Trigger.
  3. Tap the plus sign + next to Name (Optional).
    • Give the automation a name (ex: Door opens, lights on) and tap Save.
  4. Tap the plus sign + next to Device & Service Trigger.
    1. Tap your Wyze Light Strip (or Pro) > Color Blink. 
      1. Select the color temperature you'd like on the scale.
      2. Tap Save.
      3. Tap the plus sign + again to add other bulbs or light strips to the Automation, or continue below.
    2. Tap Time if you'd only like this automation active at a specific time of day.
      • Select your Start Time and End Time and any repeats.
  5. Tap Save.
