I cannot complete setup for Cam Protect

Problem

You do not have the option to start setup in the Wyze app after purchasing Cam Protect.

Troubleshooting

  1. Make sure your Wyze app is up to date.
  2. Make sure the Cam Protect subscription is active and assigned to a camera.
    • In the Wyze app, go to Account > Services > Cam Protect. Make sure your camera is shown.
  3. Clear the app cache.
    • Go to Account> App Settings > Cache Files> Clear.
  4. Sign out, then sign back into the Wyze app.

Note: If you currently have an active Wyze Home Monitoring subscription, Cam Protect cannot be used on the same account.
