Person Detection isn't working. What can I do?

If you have Cam Plus Lite assigned to a compatible camera, and Person Detection isn't actually detecting, give these troubleshooting steps a try:

If Person Detection doesn't work:

  1. Check your app and firmware versions. Release Notes & Firmware
  2. Make sure Motion Detection is turned on for your camera.
  3. Check your Wyze Cam placement with the tips in this article.

If those settings and your camera placement are OK but you're still having issues, submit a log from your device. You will not be contacted by Wyze Support, but the log will go to our engineers.
