You can adjust the built-in spotlight directly from the camera’s Live stream or settings!
To access the built-in spotlight from the live stream:
- In the Wyze app, tap on your Wyze Battery Cam Pro.
- On the camera’s live stream, tap the
spotlight icon to turn it on.
- Tap again to turn the spotlight off.
To access the built-in spotlight from the camera’s settings:
- In the Wyze app, tap on your Wyze Battery Cam Pro.
- Let the live stream fully load. This may take up to 7-10 seconds.
- Note: If you have Power Saving Mode enabled for the camera, you will need to tap the Play icon in the live stream before letting it load completely.
- In the upper right-hand corner, tap on the Settings gear.
- Tap Spotlight.
- Adjust the brightness level by sliding the scroll bar between Min (1) and Max (100).
- You can also toggle on Motion to have the camera’s built-in spotlight turn on when motion is detected when it is dark.
- Toggle Motion off to disable this feature.
Notes:
- By default, the brightness for Wyze Battery Cam Pro’s built-in spotlight is set to 80.
- Recording triggers a cooldown for both the camera and the spotlight. Any motion detected during this time will not be recorded or trigger the spotlight.
- The spotlight will only turn on when dark and motion is detected then will automatically turn off after motion is no longer detected.
