- Safeguard access to your backup keys, access code, and Wyze app. Failure to safeguard access to your backup keys, access code, and Wyze app could result in unauthorized access to the safe any gun stored within it. - Always check to make sure the door has fully latched when closing. The lid requires a firm press to lock. Failure to properly close Wyze Gun Safe could lead to unauthorized access to the safe and any gun stored within it, which could lead to the accidental discharge of the gun, which could result in serious personal injury, death, or damage to nearby property.
- Do not place or store the backup keys inside the safe at any time. These keys will open the safe if you lose your access code or the battery fails. Inability to open Wyze Gun Safe could result in inability to access access the contents of the safe during an emergency.
- Keep Wyze Gun Safe out of reach of children and pets. Wyze Gun Safe is not a toy. Never allow children to play with Wyze Gun Safe. Doing so could result in serious personal injury. Wyze Gun Safe contains small parts that may present a choking hazard. Also, do not allow children to access Wyze Gun Safe through the Wyze app or program their fingerprints to open the safe. Allowing children access to Wyze Gun Safe could result in them gaining access to any gun stored within the safe, which could lead to an accidental discharge of the gun resulting in serious personal injury, death or damage to nearby property, including property stored within the safe. Failure to keep pets away from Wyze Gun Safe could result in the pet being injured.
- Do not get Wyze Gun Safe wet. Wyze Gun Safe is not waterproof. Do not get it wet. Only operate Wyze Gun Safe with clean, dry hands. Clean only with a damp cloth. If your Wyze Gun Safe gets wet, it could short out the batteries, which may cause electric shock, fire, or smoking, which could result in serious personal injury, death, or damage to nearby property, including property stored within the safe. It could also cause the fingerprint sensor and keypad to no longer work, which could cause you to be unable to access the contents of the safe in an emergency.
- Do not operate or store Wyze Gun Safe where the temperature is hotter than 122°F (50°C). Use or storage of Wyze Gun Safe in environments hotter than 122°F (50°C) could cause Wyze Gun Safe to overheat, catch fire, explode, or smoke, which could result in serious personal injury or death. It could also cause other damage to the safe or nearby property, including property stored within the safe. Damage to Wyze Gun Safe could also prevent it from opening in an emergency. Wyze Gun Safe is not fireproof.
- Do not operate or store Wyze Gun Safe where the temperature is colder than 14°F (-10°C). Using or storing Wyze Gun Safe in environments colder than 14°F (-10°C) may cause Wyze Gun Safe to fail to open, including in an emergency.
- Do not attempt to remove, repair, modify, or perform maintenance on any part of Wyze Gun Safe except to change the batteries. Wyze Gun Safe does not contain any user serviceable parts. Attempting to remove, repair, modify or perform maintenance on any part of Wyze Gun Safe except to change the batteries, could result in an electric shock to you. It could also lead to damage to Wyze Gun Safe, which could result in overheating, fire, explosion, electric shock, or smoking, which could cause serious personal injury, death, or damage to nearby property, including property stored in the safe. Mixing different types of batteries (e.g., lithium- ion and nickel-metal hydride batteries) could cause the batteries to over-discharge, leak, explode, or catch fire, which could result in serious personal injury, or death.
