The previous recall was related to incorrect installation instructions for certain earlier Wyze Solar Cam Pan units.
The issue could occur if the long flat-head wood screws were incorrectly used to attach the solar panel bracket to the top of the camera instead of the short pan-head machine screws.
Wyze Solar Cam Pan 2K includes updated instructions, redesigned screw packaging, fail-safe screw types, and added warning labels to better support proper installation.
