Problem
Your Wyze Cam is not listed under the accessories section of Wyze Video Doorbell v2.
Troubleshooting
- Verify what type of Wyze Cam you are trying to use as a chime.
- Currently, only the following Wyze Cams can be used as a chime with Wyze Video Doorbell v2: Wyze Cam OG, Wyze Cam OG Telephoto 3x, and Wyze Cam Pan v3.
- Confirm that your Wyze app is up to date.
- In your Wyze app, navigate to the Account tab > tap About.
- Your current app version will be listed beneath the Wyze logo.
- Compare your app version to the latest app version listed on our Release Notes & Firmware page.
- If you find that your Wyze app is out of date, head over to your mobile device’s app store, and update the Wyze app.
- If possible, check that your Wyze Video Doorbell v2 and compatible Wyze Cam's firmware is up to date.
- You can check this by going to the Account tab > Firmware Update.
- If there is an update available for the doorbell or camera, please move forward with updating them.
- Check that your compatible Wyze Cam is set up in the Wyze app and the audio is working normally.
- You can try enabling the siren or using 2-way audio to test this.
- Ensure the camera is set as the doorbell’s chime.
- Navigate to the doorbell’s settings > Chime Menu > Cam as Chime.
- Select the camera you would like to use.
- Restart Wyze Cam OG.
- Navigate to the camera’s settings > Restart Device > tap Restart.
- Restart Wyze Video Doorbell v2.
- Navigate to the doorbell’s settings > Restart Camera > tap Restart.
