Poor Image Quality

Problem

The live stream for your Wyze Video Doorbell is discolored, there is a purple or pink tint to the picture, there are lines in the image, or you are otherwise experiencing poor image quality.

Troubleshooting

  1. Confirm that your Wyze app is up to date.
    1. In your Wyze app, navigate to the Account tab > tap About.
    2. Your current app version will be listed beneath the Wyze logo.
    3. Compare your app version to the latest app version listed on our Release Notes & Firmware page.
    4. If you find that your Wyze app is out of date, head over to your mobile device’s app store, and update the Wyze app.
  2. Check that your Wyze Video Doorbell’s firmware is up to date.
    1. You can check this by going to the Account tab > Firmware Update.
    2. If there is an update available for the doorbell, please move forward with updating it.
  3. Ensure there is nothing impairing the camera lens.
    1. Remove any plastic film/cover on the lens.
    2. Gently wipe the lens with a soft cloth to remove any dust or debris.
    3. If there is a third-party cover on the device, please remove it.
  4. Cycle through Night Vision Mode.
    1. Navigate to the doorbell’s live stream, then tap the 3 dots in the bottom right corner.
    2. Tap the moon icon, then cycle through Auto, On, and Off
