My heating or cooling system isn’t responding after installation.

Problem

The heating/cooling system isn't responding after installing or updating Wyze Thermostat.

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Turn off the power to the HVAC system.
  2. Check your wiring at the thermostat, making sure that each wire is secure.
  3. Check the wires at the control board, making sure that each wire is secure.
  4. Turn the power to the HVAC system back on . Then go through testing the system.
    • Testing can be found under Settings > Advanced > System Test in the Wyze app.
