Changing my color bulb's settings in the Wyze app isn't working.

Problem

You are changing the settings for your Wyze Bulb Color in the Wyze app, but they don't seem to save and apply. Example: You change the bulb's Name, but it doesn't save when you back out. 

Troubleshooting

  1. Check your Wyze Bulb Color firmware version.
    1. In the Wyze app, tap on your Wyze Bulb Color, then go to settings > Device Info > Firmware Version
    2. If you can, update your firmware. 
  2. Set up your Wyze Bulb Color again. 
    1. Before performing this step, send in an app log and take note of the app log ID.
      1. In the Wyze app, tap on your Wyze Bulb Color.

      2. Tap the settings gear > Wyze Support > Submit a Log.

      3. Choose Connectivity Issues.

      4. Fill out the details and submit your app log. Write down the generated app log ID just in case you have to send it in to support. 
    2. In the Wyze app, tap Wyze Bulb Color, then go to the settings > Delete Device > Delete.
    3. Return to the Home screen and tap the plus sign + on the top right. On the Add menu, tap Device > Power & Lighting > Wyze Bulb Color.
    4. Follow the steps to set up your Wyze Bulb Color, then test your bulb settings.
