Presents as: You see a binding error when trying to set up your Wyze Robot Vacuum.
Troubleshooting:
- If you are using an Android device:
- Make sure your Wyze app is updated to version 2.16+.
- In the Wyze app, navigate to the Account tab > About.
- The version is listed under the Wyze logo.
- If you are using an iOS device:
- Make sure your Wyze app is updated to 2.16.48+.
- If using iOS 14 or later, ensure that Precise Location is ON.
- Setting > Privacy > Location Services > Precise Location.
- Force Close your Wyze app.
- Factory reset your Wyze Robot Vacuum.
- Press and hold the home button for 5 seconds.
- You will hear “factory reset will begin.”
- Release and hold the home button again for 5 seconds.
- You will hear “Factory reset was successful.”
- Try the setup again.
