I see a binding error when trying to set up my Wyze Robot Vacuum.

Presents as: You see a binding error when trying to set up your Wyze Robot Vacuum.

Troubleshooting:

  1. If you are using an Android device: 
    1. Make sure your Wyze app is updated to version 2.16+.
    2. In the Wyze app, navigate to the Account tab > About
    3. The version is listed under the Wyze logo. 
  2. If you are using an iOS device: 
    1. Make sure your  Wyze app is updated to 2.16.48+. 
    2. If using iOS 14 or later, ensure that Precise Location is ON
      • Setting > Privacy > Location Services > Precise Location.  
  3. Force Close your Wyze app. 
  4. Factory reset your Wyze Robot Vacuum. 
    1. Press and hold the home button for 5 seconds. 
    2. You will hear “factory reset will begin.”
    3. Release and hold the home button again for 5 seconds.
    4. You will hear “Factory reset was successful.”
    5. Try the setup again.
