Setup Troubleshooting

Presents as:: My Buds Pro won't setup



  1. Make sure you are following the steps outlined in the setup guide, here

  2. Confirm the app is up to date.

  3. Confirm location permissions are turned on for the Wyze app.

  4. Confirm the Bluetooth permissions are allowed for the Wyze app.

  5. Confirm the phone/device Bluetooth is turned on.

    • Turn the Bluetooth OFF and then turn it back ON. 

  6. Make sure the Buds Pro is charged. 

    • Wired Charging: recommended charge time is at least 2 hours. 

    • Charging times using a wireless charging pad will differ depending on the pad used, but the charge time should not vary too much. 

  7. Power cycle the mobile device (power it off and then back on).

    • Note: If you are on a phone call, this will disconnect the call. Please provide us your email address so we can assist via email.

  8. Try a factory reset, and then try setup again.

    • With the Buds in the case, Press and Hold the button for 20 seconds
