Problem
You are not seeing the information you wish to see on your scale’s built-in screen.
Note: Wyze Scale BodyScan has a fixed LED display, and does not have customizable screen settings. The screen will show your weight, body fat, BMI, muscle mass, bone mass, water, and protein. You can find full and segmental results in the Wyze app.
Troubleshooting
- Confirm that your Wyze app is up to date.
- In your Wyze app, navigate to the Account tab > tap About.
- Your current app version will be listed beneath the Wyze logo.
- Compare your app version to the latest app version listed on our Release Notes & Firmware page.
- If you find that your Wyze app is out of date, head over to your mobile device’s app store and update the Wyze app.
- If possible, check that your Wyze Scale BodyScan’s firmware is up to date.
- You can check this by going to the Account tab > Firmware Update.
- If there is an update available for the scale, please move forward with updating it.
- If the display shows "C", an error has occurred. Step off the scale, then step back on to repeat the measurement.
- If the body-composition metrics show dashes after weighing, the body composition was not captured. Measure again, ensuring that measuring is done correctly.
- The scale should be placed on a hard, flat surface.
- Feet must be barefoot.
- Excessively dry or damp feet may result in incorrect or no measurements.
- Knees should not be touching.
- Grip the handle with all fingers, with thumbs placed on the sensor area.
- Keep arms at a 30°–45° angle while holding the handle.
- Remain on the scale until measuring is complete.
- Power cycle Wyze Scale BodyScan.
- Remove the batteries for 10 seconds, then reinstall them.
- Factory reset Wyze Scale BodyScan.
- On the back of the scale in the battery compartment, find the UNIT button.
- Press and hold it for 5 seconds until the LED display shows "Clr".
- Set up the scale as new.
