Grouping your Wyze Video Doorbell devices
Organize products into Groups to make it easy to access a collection of doorbells and cameras, as well as view the Live Stream of multiple devices at once.
To create a Wyze Video Doorbell Group:
- In the Wyze app, tap Home, then tap the plus sign + on the top right.
- On the Add menu, tap Device Group, then select Camera Group.
- You cannot group different device types together (ex. doorbells and bulbs can't be grouped together).
- Wyze Video Doorbell is considered a camera.

Enter a group name.
- Group names are limited to 20 characters.
- Select each of the Wyze Video Doorbell devices you want in the group.
- Tap Done on the top right.
Devices you add to a group will display at the bottom of the Devices list. To display your group on the Favorites tab, tap the star icon next to the Device Group. You must tap on the group to view it, or favorite the individual devices for their Live stream to show on the Favorites tab.
To view the cameras in a Group:
To view all of the cameras in a group, tap the Device Group name on the Devices list. If you have favorited the group, tap the group name on the Favorites tab.
Editing the Group
All groups can be modified by the account owner. They can be renamed, have the devices in the group removed or reordered, or even deleted entirely. No matter how you edit a group, the individual devices will still remain on your Wyze account.
To rename your Group:
- On the Devices list or Favorites tab, tap on your Device Group.
- Tap the Settings gear, then Name.
- Change the name, then tap Done
Note: Shared users cannot name or rename a group.
To reorder cameras in the group:
- On the Devices list or Favorites tab, tap your Device Group.
- Tap the Settings gear, then Cameras in Group.
- Press, hold and drag the two lines icon next to the camera you want to move.
- Tap Save.
To remove an individual camera from a group:
- On the Devices list or Favorites tab, tap on your Device Group.
- Tap the Settings gear, then Cameras in Group.
- Tap the red icon next to the camera you want to remove.
- Tap Save.
To delete a Group:
- On the Devices list or Favorites tab, tap on your Device Group.
- Tap the Settings gear, then Delete Camera Group.
- When prompted, select Delete.
Additional Notes:
- There is no limit to the number of cameras that can be added to a Group.
- Devices you add to a group will no longer display individually on the Home tab unless they've been added to Favorites.
- Shared users cannot manage, edit, or delete Groups.
Viewing the Live Stream
You can view a Live stream of your Wyze Video Doorbell in the Wyze app whenever you’re connected to Wi-Fi.
To view the Live stream: Open the Wyze app, and tap on your Wyze Video Doorbell.

Streaming Quality: View your Live Stream in HD, SD, 480p quality with just a tap.
- Having connection issues? Set your quality to SD to use less bandwidth.
- Full screen: View your visitors from head to toe with just a tap of the Full Screen icon. Tap it again to return to the standard view.
- Sound: Listen to audio from your doorbell using the Sound feature. Tap the Sound (speaker) icon to turn it on and listen. Tap it again to turn off sound.
- Speak: Talk to your pets or communicate with someone with the Speak feature. Tap the Speak (microphone) icon to start speaking. Tap it again to stop.

Take Photos: Take a picture of the stream from the Live Stream screen. Tap the Camera icon to take a photo. Photos are saved to the Album in the Wyze app.
- Photos are saved to your device’s photo gallery and can be viewed, sent, or shared from there or through the Album in the Wyze app.

Record: Record a video of the stream directly from the Live Stream screen. Tap the Record icon to start recording and Stop to finish recording.
- Recorded videos are saved to your device’s photo gallery and can be viewed, sent, or shared from there or through the Album in the Wyze app.
- Night Vision: View the Live Stream at night using with the infrared light filter and White LED light. Tap the Moon icon to cycle Night Vision mode between Auto, On, or Off.
Sharing your Wyze Video Doorbell
The Sharing feature lets other people access and use your Wyze Video Doorbell. Have a family member or other close friend who wants to answer the doorbell? Share it with them in the Wyze app.
To share your Wyze Video Doorbell:
- In the Wyze app, tap on the Wyze Video Doorbell you want to share.
- Tap on the Settings icon on the top right to open your Device Settings.
- Tap Share, then Share with a new user.

Enter the email address of the person you want to share your doorbell with.
- Or, select someone from your Recent Shares list.
- Tap Share.
What can a shared user do?
Shared users will be able to:
- View the Live Stream and Event Videos.
- Record a Live Stream.
- Turn on and off Notifications.
- Create Shortcuts, Schedules and other Automations.
- Enable and disable Motion Tracking.
- Use the Sound, Speak, and Take Photo tools.
- Turn on and off Night Vision.
- View the Device Info.
- Remove the device from their Wyze app.
Shared users will not able to:
- Share a device shared with them.
- Rename a device shared with them.
Additional Notes:
- There is no limit to the number of users you can share your Wyze devices with.
- There is no limit to he number of Wyze devices you can share.
- The sharing feature is set per device. To share multiple devices, you'll have to invite users to each manually.
White Light LED
There is an additional LED light bar on the front of the Wyze Video Doorbell below the camera lens. When enabled, this light will turn on automatically in dim light to help capture a clear face when a person is detected.
To turn on the White Light LED:
- In the Wyze app, tap on your Wyze Video Doorbell.
- Tap the Settings gear on the top right, then Advanced Settings.
- Next to White Light LED, tap the toggle to On.
- Tap the toggle to Off to disable the White Light LED.
Night Vision LED
Wyze Video Doorbell includes Night Vision, similar to what you're already using on your other Wyze Cam devices. This feature lets you view an area even in deep shade or darkness.
To turn on Night Vision for Wyze Video Doorbell:
- In the Wyze app, tap on your Wyze Video Doorbell.
- Tap the Settings gear on the top right, then Advanced Settings.
- Under Night vision LED, note the Off, Auto, and On options.
- Auto will automatically turn Night Vision on and off as needed.
- Tap On to turn on Night Vision LED.
