Understanding your Wyze Video Doorbell v2 Status Light

You'll find the status light on the front of your Wyze Video Doorbell v2. No light? Make sure it's properly connected to power using Wyze Video Doorbell v2 Setup Guide.

⚡️ All Wyze devices have a handy status light that helps determine what state the device is in.

Wyze Video Doorbell v2 Status Light Guide

  • Solid Orange: The device is powered on and initializing.
  • Flashing Orange: The device is ready for pairing.
  • Solid Blue: The device has been paired successfully.
  • Flashing Blue: The device is connected and powered on, and/or motion is detected.
  • Alternating Orange/Blue: The device firmware is being updated.

Note: Wyze Doorbell Chime Controller does not have a status light.

To turn on/off the status light:

  1. In the Wyze app, tap on your Wyze Cam device.
  2. Tap on the Settings gear > Advanced Settings.
  3. Tap the toggle next to Camera Status Light.

You can turn off the status light on all Wyze Cam and video doorbell devices except Wyze Video Doorbell Pro.
