Should I connect the plug-in mount to a power source before installing the floodlight camera?

No, DO NOT power the plug-in mount until the floodlight camera is completely wired and properly installed on the mount.

WARNING. Risk of electrical shock.

Before connecting the plug-in mount to the outlet: Secure your mounting plate to the wall, then wire your Wyze Cam Floodlight to the mount. After installation is complete, plug the plug-in mount it into the outlet.
