Is my door compatible with Wyze Lock Bolt v2?

Most likely, if you're in the US.

Wyze Lock Bolt v2 is compatible with most standard US doors (with a thickness of 35 mm-55 mm). Some doors may require drilling, chiseling, or extra tools if they are not standard US doors.

Wyze Lock Bolt v2 is not recommended if:

  • Your door is too thin, with a thickness < 35 mm.
  • You have a mortise or multipoint lock.

The video below applies to Wyze Palm Lock, Wyze Lock Bolt and Wyze Lock Bolt v2.

After you remove your existing lock, you will line up the template to check your backset and ensure the lock is compatible without any adjustments. If it is not, follow along in the installation guide video to get it lined up.

Is my door thick enough for Wyze Lock Bolt v2?

Your door must be between 35mm-55mm in thickness to use Wyze Lock Bolt v2. If your door is thinner than 35mm, we do not recommend installing this lock as it may not function properly.

What hardware is not compatible with my lock?

Because Wyze Lock Bolt v2 is a deadbolt replacement lock, it works with most standard US doors.

However, if you want to avoid extra tools and unnecessary hassle, Wyze Lock Bolt v2 is not recommended with the following deadbolts or doors:

  • Doors that do not meet the following thickness criteria:

  • Mortise or Integrated Lock & Handles
