My scale data is not updating in the Wyze app.


Your Wyze Scale S data and measurements do not show up in the Wyze app. You open the app and none of your data syncs and displays.

Troubleshooting Tips:

  1. Make sure your Wyze app is up to date.
    1. In the Wyze app, tap on the Account tab > About.
    2. The app version will be listed under the Wyze logo.
    3. Compare your app version to the most up-to-date version on our Release Notes & Firmware page.
    4. If your Wyze app version is not updated to the latest version, please go to your device’s app store, search for the Wyze app, and proceed with updating the app. 
  2. Make sure your Wyze Scale S firmware is up to date.
    1. In the Wyze app, tap on the Account tab > Firmware Update.
    2. If Wyze Scale S shows that it needs an update, please update the firmware.
  3. Ensure location permissions for the Wyze app are enabled.
  4. Make sure Bluetooth® is turned on.
    • Toggle Bluetooth® off/on. 
  5. Make sure Wyze Scale S is on and activated while trying to pair. Tap on it with your foot first to activate it.
  6. Power cycle the scale by removing and reinstalling the battery.
  7. Check if the “Only Measure with App Open” mode is turned on.
    • In the Wyze app, tap on Wyze Scale S > Settings > Users > Nickname > toggle off Only Measure with App Open.
    • Note: This mode will automatically be turned on and cannot be turned off if there are two users for this scale that have similar weights.
  8. Perform a factory reset.
    1. Press the button on the back of the scale, which is labeled as UNIT/RESET, for at least 3 seconds. 
    2. Once you see CLR on the screen, that indicates the factory reset was successful.
