Problem
Your Wyze Scale S data and measurements do not show up in the Wyze app. You open the app and none of your data syncs and displays.
Troubleshooting Tips:
- Make sure your Wyze app is up to date.
- In the Wyze app, tap on the Account tab > About.
- The app version will be listed under the Wyze logo.
- Compare your app version to the most up-to-date version on our Release Notes & Firmware page.
- If your Wyze app version is not updated to the latest version, please go to your device’s app store, search for the Wyze app, and proceed with updating the app.
- Make sure your Wyze Scale S firmware is up to date.
- In the Wyze app, tap on the Account tab > Firmware Update.
- If Wyze Scale S shows that it needs an update, please update the firmware.
- Ensure location permissions for the Wyze app are enabled.
- Make sure Bluetooth® is turned on.
- Toggle Bluetooth® off/on.
- Make sure Wyze Scale S is on and activated while trying to pair. Tap on it with your foot first to activate it.
- Power cycle the scale by removing and reinstalling the battery.
- Check if the “Only Measure with App Open” mode is turned on.
- In the Wyze app, tap on Wyze Scale S > Settings > Users > Nickname > toggle off Only Measure with App Open.
- Note: This mode will automatically be turned on and cannot be turned off if there are two users for this scale that have similar weights.
- Perform a factory reset.
- Press the button on the back of the scale, which is labeled as UNIT/RESET, for at least 3 seconds.
- Once you see CLR on the screen, that indicates the factory reset was successful.
